History
We have been developing mobile and internet related services since 1996, our first public offering being one of the first email-to-sms gateways, and a general purpose SMS information service launched in 1997 in the United Kingdom as textXpress under the VoiceMart brand, later to become ukmobile.net.
Comcetera™ was formed as a new company in 2007 to unify the messaging brand of ukmobile.net with our "non-mobile" services while taking over the former customers of web service company Encys Solutions.
Messaging Platform
With a background in SMS messaging since the early days of its popularity, Comcetera™ has developed a strong and robust SMS platform which now serves many of our messaging and SMS-related solutions as well as being a strong starting point to develop bespoke messaging services for our clients.
Hosting and Redundancy
A need for a reliable, flexible hosting platform for our own services led us to seek out a range of high quality data centres across the world, in which our servers are now housed. We are now able to offer hosting services for businesses and individuals, and offer options for multiple-site, geographically diverse hosting for customers with high availability or high bandwidth website requirements.
Financial Position
Comcetera™ is debt free and profitable, with a strong base of regular customers, enabling us to continually invest in expanding capacity and launching innovative new services. Comcetera™ remains 100% owned by management.
