The death toll from Russia’s missile strike on Poltava on September 3rd has tragically risen to 54, as reported by the State Emergency Service. Rescue efforts are still underway, with 297 people wounded and five more feared trapped under the rubble. Russia launched two ballistic missiles, hitting the Military Institute of Communications and a nearby medical facility, leaving part of the educational building in ruins.

Last Wednesday, a Russian drone and missile attack on Lviv tragically claimed the lives of seven people, including four members of the same family. The man in the photo is the only one who survived. His wife, Yevheniia, and their three daughters, Yaryna, Dayna, and Emilia, were killed while they slept peacefully in their own home.

Western media often uses euphemisms to describe the realities of the war in Ukraine. For instance, Russian actress Polina Menshik, who came to Southern Zaporizhia Oblast in Ukraine to entertain Russian occupiers, was reported as having died “as a consequence of a Ukrainian strike.”
Russia’s military actions have targeted the most vulnerable — Ukrainian children 💔 From bombing shelters where they sought safety to shelling maternity hospitals and striking Okhmadyt, a hospital that treats kids battling severe illnesses.
These children have lived through the bombing of their homes and the constant threat of conflict around them. They’re now receiving crucial support from a Ukrainian NGO, thanks to the efforts of the Banner of Love church. We’re proud to support this NGO and the important work they’re doing to help these children find hope and safety during such challenging times.
