Accommodation booking request

Thanks for considering using our charity’s remote community accommodation.

This accommodation is run by our charity to address the shortage of affordable accommodation for those helping the community of Kowanyama. First preference will be given to volunteers and then to visitors doing community development work. All rates cover the costs of this acccommodation with any surplus going directly to our charity work.

Facilities: 1 bedroom caravan with double bed, shower, kitchen, dining/loungette, TV, bathroom, toilet. Airconditioning. Small manual washing machine available.

There is a secure outdoor seating area enclosed with a locked cage.

There is no on-site housekeeping so we request that you please leave the facilities clean and in the same condition you found them.

Please remove all rubbish and perishable food.

If you do not want to wash and dry your linen before you go please bring your own. Regular visitors can make arrangements to leave items in a secure storage.

There are generator facilities should you be in community during a power blackout.

If you need to cancel please contact us at opt@passingthrough.net and we can arrange a refund minus payment fees.
