OPT-Only Passing Thru may be a small volunteer-run charity, but its impact is rooted in strong partnerships and #loveinaction. Every dollar donated goes directly to programs that bring hope and practical help to those who need it most.

Here’s what we’ve achieved this past year:

🇺🇦 Ukraine
– Partnered with Християнська медична асоціація / Christian Medical Association of Ukraine, delivering medical supplies, equipment, and medicines directly to hospitals, NGOs, and frontline volunteers.
– Ran mobile medical clinics; partners provided first aid training for civilians and military, and supported burns treatment and patient rehabilitation projects.
– Delivered Advanced Life Support training and lectured in medical universities to equip Ukrainian doctors for wartime healthcare challenges.
– Supported Fortress of Good and Banner of Love volunteers delivering food, water, and aid to frontline villages.

🌍 Medical Missions
In April 2025: six mobile clinics, two ALS trainings, education at three medical universities, and teaching at a medical conference in Ukraine — all while delivering essential medical equipment to partners.

🇦🇺 Australia (Kowanyama Community)
Completed a church/public toilet and volunteer accommodation project.
Continued youth boarding support and videoconference training for remote communities, reducing isolation and connecting families.

🇧🇩 Bangladesh
Supported Symbiosis International, transforming lives through education, health, and economic development for marginalised groups.

📊 Impact in Numbers
91% of expenses went straight to programs (well above charity benchmarks)
$113,000 direct to Ukrainian aid
$42,000 earmarked for future missions and equipment
3,173 website visitors (up from 1,675 last year!)
